I play several different games on my PC and this is the first time I have run into this type of thing. You may feel this my fault somehow, myself I think it just a buggy game. I did google the problem and found that some people back in 2011 had the same problem with Witcher 2. I am at level 17 and do not wish to start all over. If I delete the game and reinstall will I lose all I have gained. The thing that pisses me off the most is not being able to contact GOG and the few times I managed to send a ticket or inquiry I received no response at all. I can live with no voices in the videos as it has the captions, however if can not meditate and replenish, vitality, bombs and potions the game is virtually unplayable.

If I crank the sound up full blast I can barely hear what I guess is the dialogue and the back ground sounds are far too loud. The other problem with the game is, I have no voices in the videos only the captioning. I even loaded another check point which was the Jenny of the woods and it still says 'you can't do that now'. The meditate worked until some time yesterday 7-19, I was on the Main Quest a Favor for Radovid when I discovered the problem. It is all up to date I have Windows 7 64 bit, it is a i7 quad core only a couple of months old and it has 16 Gb of Ram.
